This wooden bowl was turned on the lathe and then painted with a reactive bronze paint.  There is powdered metal in the paint and I use a process of forced oxidation to create the natural aged metallic patina.  The finish is a brushed on acrylic so this is functionally safe and great for jewelry, remotes, knickknacks, paddywhacks, dog bones, wrapped candy or just use it as art for enjoyment, display and appreciation.  Maple bowl with reactive bronze paint, 9 1/4” diameter
